Infrared (IR) photography utilizes light which is beyond the spectrum visible to humans.  As such, IR photography can create images outside of our normal experience.  In the past I used infrared film, but since switching to digital I had an old Canon SLR modified and have been having lots of fun ever since.  Colour IR is new to me, and I’m really just playing around, but I do love the drama.
